Mafalda Bastos de Almeida is an Associate Director at Fortitude Capital and has over 9 years' experience in the energy and investment sectors. Before joining Fortitude, she spent 9 years at Galp, the largest oil and gas company in Portugal. Most recently, she was a Senior M&A Specialist in the Corporate Division, where she managed the divestment of upstream assets and transactions supporting the company's energy transition. Before that, she was a Transaction Manager in the Renewables Division, where she led the execution of acquisitions of solar PV and onshore wind assets across Europe and Brazil.

Mafalda holds a BSc in Mathematics from NOVA School of Science and Technology and an MSc in Mathematical Finance from ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics & Management.
